The GAT Project explores the dietary habits and ecological roles of marine megafauna, such as dugongs and tiger sharks, to understand how their interactions shape the Shark Bay ecosystem. Using stable isotope analysis, researchers trace food web interactions, identifying critical feeding areas and trophic levels. This work supports conservation by revealing key ecological dynamics.
